The room was huge with view of garden and the staff very attentive and efficient.

A great selection of goodies for breakfast. Nicely furnished and neat rooms with garden view, own bath and a japanese garden. The staff was absolutely friendly and the setting was particularly good and perfect.

The location was unbeatable and excellent for walking around a historic castle. A central market and stores were right next door. Our stay was really nice and we would love to come back.

The room was large and very traditional with the full garden view, I felt comfortable there. The hotel had a good and perfect location next to Kazuemachi.

I had an excellent stay at a traditional ryokan in a calm neighborhood near a beautiful castle park. The owner, who spoke English well, was incredibly welcoming and kind throughout my stay. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious for a ryokan, with fresh towels and linen provided daily. Though there were shared toilet and bathroom facilities, they were clean and rarely busy. it was a great experience and offered good value for money. I definitely recommend this ryokan for a unique and comfortable stay.

I appreciated staying in this exceptionally comfortable place. I was upgraded to an inviting a twin room with view of garden. The location was favourable, minutes away from a phonograph museum. The staff was absolutely lovely and my stay was very relaxing, would love to come back.

I recently had an amazing experience at this traditional Japanese house. The owner, Bungo-san, is incredibly nice and helpful, going out of his way to ensure his customers are well taken care of. The location is excellent, with everything within walking distance, including the park, the geisha district, and the station. The rooms are lovely, clean, and spacious, with a charming garden view. The breakfast served here is absolutely delicious and authentic. It's definitely worth trying. Plus, they even allow you to bring sandwiches into the breakfast room!

Honestly, everything was okay.

Location near the local attractions and elegant gardens and Kenroku-en, Castle Park and central market. Nice food in the restaurants such as Niwatori, located 5 min away.

The hotel is very conveniently located, with key attractions within walking distance. You can explore almost everything in the city on foot, which is a major plus. Additionally, the rooms offer a beautiful view of a pretty Japanese-style garden, adding to the overall charm and ambiance of the stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and location of the hotel, and would come back for sure. Had an excellent stay with our mom, we spent 3 nights here, everything was great. Our room was extremely spacious with view of garden, just what was needed. The staff were very kind and adorable, no complaints whatsoever...

the hotel is fairly clean, nestled in the nice building with outstandingstaff. the atmosphere of the property is family. the location is great and awesome and next to a bus stop. nice restaurant offers delicious food.
